I just took in the Julie Banderas "interview" of Shirley Phelps-Roper, spokes-hate-person for Westboro Baptist Church (of hate). Julie wasted little time losing her professionalism getting right up in Shirley's chops, and slung scripture with glee and abandon and skill. Damn...
Hell, she did a "fine" job of (generally) shouting over Shirley. It wasn't "news" so much as it was "Jerry Springer", but...it's so nice to see someone whose view of Christianity is as perverted as the brand that Fred Phelps has inculcated into his extended family get the welcome given. Of course, in Shirley's mind, I'm sure it merely validates her view that the other %99.99 of the US is going straight to hell.
...and this "God Hates Fags" thing: nowhere on their website can one find word one about the evils of tobacco. Shameful, I say! False labeling as well!
