I'd really like to be watching the Nats' game on TV. Really. However, since there is an Orioles game going on now, the Nats are on MASN2. Verizon has not deigned to put MASN2 on the air where it usually does, so I am out of luck.
What does this have to do with Peter Angelos you say?
Peter Angelos owns MASN. MASN owns the TV broadcast rights for both the Orioles and the Nats. I still maintain that there were shenanigans between Angelos and Bud Selig when the contract was "negotiated" during the time that MLB owned the Nats. There is something wrong with the owner of the Orioles having the TV broadcast rights to the team he fought hard to keep from being moved to Washington (which he still thinks is his (Orioles) territory). Whenever the Nats and Orioles play inter-league games, you can't watch a Nats game on the TV. It's an Orioles game. The announcers and the side discussions are all aimed at the Orioles.
Angelos has managed to run the Orioles into the ground with stupid personnel meddling. He tried his hardest to keep baseball out of the nation's capital. I can't say enough bad things about him.
