Really unhappy news...

One of my closest friends, Bob Bodine, is going to die of cancer in the near future. The bladder cancer got away, and it is aggressive and incurable.

Please hold Bob and Martha and the kids, Rachel, William, and James, in the light as they cope with this.

The prognosis is presently "no more than six months". Bob is going to be at home, getting hospice care. The pain is being managed.

Damn! This sucks...

...and this after what appeared to be remarkably successful surgery.
