It always saddens me to see those types of signs, particularly on public land like freeway medians or college campuses. I don't think I'd mind as much if they were clever, set up like a corny Burma-Shave ad: "If you miss / the diplomats, / Vote for all / the Democrats. / Vote Joe Donkey November 7." But the ubiquitous signs that have no other message than "vote for me!" are just a waste of paper, manpower, and State resources.
