herveusI was listening to an interview of a spokesperson for the Chicago Olympic bid. She was bravely putting a good face on it and not being whiny. Then, in an attempt to be gracious, she said something like "I hope I'm not mangling the Spanish" followed by some sort of congratulatory remark in something that sounded like Spanish.
Did anyone tell her that they don't speak Spanish in Rio?
