Travel plans for those who might be interested...

We leave for Pennsic *Real Early* Saturday morning, aiming to arrive so as to not have to wait around too long to be allowed to begin setting up. We are in our traditional spot at 133 Plunder Lane.

We'll have a social area in the back of the shop similar to last year's setup where we will be hosting the Tablet Weavers' Tea on Thursday of war Week at 3pm. We may be hosting a schmooze session of folks on the Medieval Sawdust mailing list, possibly on Sunday afternoon, but that's way up in the air.

Tuesday, 8 August, is our 25th wedding anniversary. I've got a bottle of Port Ellen whisky that will get cracked then (along with whatever other bottles of whisky I take up). We'll be running diverse specials in celebration. I can't tell you specifics, in large part because we haven't sorted out what they all will be. I suspect that "25" and "silver" will play a prominent role.

Moving along to September, my lovely wife instigated further celebration, to wit, a cruise. We'll be taking the Baltic Capitals cruise on Norwegian Cruise Lines.

Saint Petersburg is fully booked with tour excursions, in large part because otherwise we'd have to make our own visa arrangements and that seems like too much trouble for too little reward, given the tours available to us.

We were planning to have lunch at the Old Hansa in Tallinn and would welcome company. I'm hoping yrmegard can meet up with us then. I don't know if any of the Finns we know do the LJ thing...

Ah! I wish I was making it to Pennsic this year, so I could stop by and say hello. I'll be there next year tho. (Actually, I talked to you at last year's Pennsic, but we hadn't started reading each other's LJ's yet, and I managed to sleep through the tea. Happy early anniversary! The cruise sounds lovely. We took a cruise through the Panama Canal for our honeymoon and I so want to go on another cruise. I'll try to stop by at Pennsic and give you happy anniversearies there as well!

I'll make sure to stop by and say hi shortly after I get on site -- unless by some miracle I get there first.

Where I'm camping and where to *really* find me: I'll be camping with Maison de Cat, N-03. But look for me first at Heralds Point, Troll, and the dance tent (all of which I will frequent). Choir practice from 4-6 Friday through Wednesday. Choir concert Thursday evening at 6; you know you want to be there! :-) There are a couple of merchants I'll be hanging out with pretty frequently -- your place being one.

Arrival and departure: I don't yet know when I'll arrive but it will be no later than first Tuesday evening (the 8th); I plan to stay until the final Sunday (the 20th).

Fun things I'm planning to do: I Sebastiani and I Genesii shows, schedule permitting. Johan von Traubenberg's wake (Middle Sat evening). liadan_m's tea (middle Sunday). Herveus and Megan's anniversary party. Hanging out at Clan Cambion camp (E-15). East Kingdom court. *Maybe* Atlantian court, but if the parts of EK court I want to see are in conflict, EK court wins. Showing montuos around some (it being her first Pennsic; middle weekend).
