We got a Wii (and the Wii Fit) for Christmas.

Ouch.

Yes, I'm a bit sore, but it's a good kind of sore. I'm trying to do a useful amount of Wii Fitness training every day. I'm also working up my skills at various Wii sports. So far, so good.

Cool! I need a Wii - but just can't justify it right now...

We justified it on multiple grounds:

- it's something we all can and will use
- it's will (we hope) encourage better fitness amongst us
- it's just plain cool
- it's fun for our friends to come over and play with as well

That last point may get particularly exercised tonight...

Wii is Awsome Fun.

I don't have a wii fit yet, but I REALLY want to get it. wii sports is my favorite winter exercise. Its a good way to get back into the groove before summer so I don't hurt myself.

Especially since the last time Itried to take a walk outside in the cold It made me have an Asthma attack. (my lungs no likey the coldey)

Wii also reminds me of my favorite NON-dirty joke: What did the snail say while riding on a turtle's back?

Wii!

Just be careful you don't end up with Wii-knee. (yes, it is a real diagnosis in Japan... and you have to say it outload to get the 12 year old snicker-giggle just right).

Mario Kart is another great game... I think I might know what we're going to do tonight for at least a little while :-)

You WILL have to get the Star Wars Dueling games. Force Unleashed required you to unlock the characters for the duels but Clone Wars: The Lightsaber Duels has a short campaign as it's the duels that are the selling point. :D

He'd win that bet. I just looked at a couple of reviews; while not scathing, they were less than complimentary. Something about being a bit thin.

Pace Yourself!

Watch the boxing. Take it slow until you're used to it. THL Owain ap Tegwared (aka "Hubby") has had to go visit the chiropractor a couple of times as a result of... excessive boxing.

The Wii Fit is great for working on posture. Wait till you find the game with the candle. My kids LOVE it, and it's something that requires them to sit perfectly still.

I haven't done too much of the boxing stuff except when it wants me to do some as part of the Wii Sports Fitness thingie. I'm doing fair decent at tennis, golf, and bowling, though, and I'm trying to get at least 30 Wii Fit credits a day doing a variety of stuff.

I haven't tried the candle game, although it is available to me.
