Mostly yay. The more I thought about it, the Korea opportunity, had it materialized, would have been hugely disruptive, in part because I would not have had much space to settle affairs before going. It would have dumped an hideous load on my wife. In the end, while I have been jobless, I have, at no time, been unemployed. For that I am grateful, and I feel indebted to my employer to help them recoup the investment they made in me. I think I can safely say that we both look forward to an extended and mutually beneficial arrangement whereby they make decent money off my skills.
Another part of yay is the company vacation to Cabo San Lucas in April. :)
